Sandy Lodge Golf Club is celebrating its Centenary
in 2010 and will be holding several events at the Club to mark the occasion.
This will include two significant events which will involve a larger than
normal number of members and their families coming to the Golf Club.
The first is a Family Fun Day on Saturday 5th June 2010. On this day there
will be Children’s / Family games on the course starting from 3.00pm
(near to the Clubhouse). A jazz band will be playing early evening on
the patio and there will also be live music in the Clubhouse later in
the evening. A short firework display will be held around 10.00 pm.
On the evening of Saturday 10th July the Club is holding a Centenary Party
where there will be 400 members attending. A marquee will be erected on
the first hole and there will be live music in the evening.
The Club have obtained Temporary Event Licences for both these events
and are making every attempt to ensure that disruption to residents of
Moor Park will be minimised.
